Mahala Northwest is now affiliated with the practice of Jeffrey Merkle, MD, in Hackettstown, NJ. This means that we can accept most insurance plans at our Hackettstown office and your visit may only be the cost of your specialist copay!

Q: Do I or does my baby have to be a patient at Dr. Merkle's practice?

A: No, but you may have to fill out some new patient forms so that you can be entered into our system. If you're not familiar with Dr. Merkle's practice, check them out! This is a family practice, meaning the whole family can be treated in one place. Beth is now practicing out of this office as well as a family nurse practitioner (FNP).

Q: How do I know if you accept my insurance? 

A: You should call your insurance company to make sure. You want to ask if Dr. Jeffery Merkle/Primary Care Partners is in network. The tax ID number is 27-4980253. If you ask specifically about Mahala, we will not come up as in-network. Since we sre affiliated, we are now able to accept the plans that Dr. Merkle accepts.

Q: Can you still do home visits?

A: We do not offer home visits at this time.
